We have been working hard at updating the Gaila Woods webpage to something more modern with the ability for visitors to post comments and ask questions easily.  Please let us know what you think.

We recently hired a contractor to replace the many collapsing culverts that cross under our roads in the community.  This project has been completed and we are now working to get the roads patched in the areas of construction.

Any property with areas that drain into the culverts please make sure the run-off path is clear of anything that could wash down and block the culverts.  If you are physically unable to perform this duty please reach out to a board member to report the obstruction so we can help you clear it.

Almost all of the properties have some sort of drainage ditch in front of their property along the road.  Please make sure you keep sticks and leaves from clogging these areas up too.

Please be advised that no services will be provided on Wednesday, July 4th. All landfills and recycling facilities will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Any services regularly-scheduled for Wednesday will instead by provided on Saturday, July 7th.

Several complaints have been made regarding vehicles on our roads not moving far enough over for on-coming traffic to safely pass. Please be considerate of others on our community roads by slowing down and moving over.

Please be advised that our offices will be closed and no services will be provided on Tuesday, July 4th; the landfills and recycling facilities are closed that day in observance of the holiday.

For communities located in Loudoun, Prince William or Fauquier County, trash collection will resume on the next regularly-scheduled trash collection day and recycling collection will resume on the next regularly-scheduled recycling collection day.

The annual Gaila Woods board meeting will be held at Coles Elementary School cafeteria/gym on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 7:00PM-9:00PM. We hope to see you there!

The annual board meeting has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict with Coles Elementary. A new date will be announced soon.

Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, all trash and recycling collection services for Tuesday, March 14th have been cancelled. Trash service will resume on your next regularly-scheduled collection day. Recycling service will resume on your next regularly-scheduled collection day. Please make every effort to assist us with notifying the residents of the communities that are affected by this service suspension. Rest assured that all accumulated materials will be collected when we return.
